Sick Deal on Parts (20th Nov 09 at 1:44am UTC)
I'm gettin a bynch of stuff for my SAS from a guy tonight pretty damn cheap. If all goes well and I get it, all I'll need is high steer, spring hanger, new rotors, and some shock hoops and I'll be ready to do the SAS. And some chevy 63" springs for the rear.

I'm gettin closer!

If anyone has some of those parts they dont need hook me up!!!!!!!

I got the parts! Rancho 4" lift springs for the front, 2' lift shackes, longer steel braided brake lines, and 4 rancho rs5000 shocks. $170. Not bad right?

I could put the toyota reas up front, but it wouldnt give me any lift would it?
Plus I hear those rancho 4' lift springs flex hella good.

When I do the swap I'll give you a good deal on my rear springs. Maybe trade you for some beer or something.haha

Rears give 3" of lift and flex waaaaaaaaaaaaayyyyyyyyyyyyyy better than any piece of shit rancho lift spring. I run 2nd gen rears in the front and third gen/tacoma rears in my rear. I max out my shock, so id say they flex good. Way better than the wrangle fronts and shitty chevy rears on my first rig. you will learn

Huh, thats interesting. Thats the first I've heard that. I guess I'll ahve to experiement with it.

I guess I could run the rear leafs in the front with an add a leaf and 2 inch shckles to give me the 6 inches of lift I'm looking for.

6inches of lift Smiley Smiley go with 3 inches 6 is too tall you will be unstable etc etc I have 3 maybe 3.5" and fit 16/38.5/15's and did it without cutting sheetmetal in the front, the rear hit and needed some stuff room but Im also about an inch lower in the rear than the front, I wouldnt have had to cut but its too wide to stuff with those tires...I mean a stock height rig fits 33's with ease why 6? Cole has 35's with 3 inches of lift with tons of room to spare even his 36's have room to spare with only cutting because the front and rear were stretched out, my experience and most others is keep it as low as possible it will perform better on and off road that way....

X2! 6" and 35"s is way to much lift for the tires. I run the 36 iroks with 3" of lift and love it.

You can always tell the new guys, they talk about lift in inch incerments. I have no clue how many inches of lift is on my rig, I know it is fairly low and works extremely well. I mean no offence by that OVkid, but you will get it all figured out before to long.
