2007 HD2500 Upgrages?? (14th Aug 08 at 5:02am UTC)
Okay..

I bought a new toy and I would like to make it a little easier to pull with my 2007 Classic HD2500 Durarmax?

I have installed the Edge with Attitude. I really like after I had to send it back two times to fix.

Intake?
Exhaust?
Propane or Methane\Water Injection?
Ride-Rite Bags?

Any help would be appreciate.

Since you have a fueling box. youll want to get an intake and exhaust for sure to get cool air in and hot air out faster. Did the fueling box have gauges??

do not do propane, it will only hurt you for towing. Water meth is a last resort if you want cooler egt's and more power. at that point I think motor temp would start to be an issue.

My dodge has lots of goodies for go fast, but they only go so far if the temps start to raise. I want air bags forsure when I get either a gooseneck or a toy hauler. Havent decided which i want yet.

PICS of what you bought.....

Yeah if you would like to sit on a wood bench on the way to the trail. I would go see Mark at Marco Muffler and get an AFE intake. Then maybe we can race. :flipoff:

Could you PM a price on the Stage 2 kit for the LBZ engine?

Which exhaust? I understand some of the differences, but what brand should I stay away from?

Thanks..

Took it out and it was very nice.

Should make the Hammer's and Moab a lot more comfortable.

NICE. I wish the cruiser wasnt so wide in the front. I need rollers to get it in one i think. Pretty much need a trip axel for the heavy turd. But leaning towards a 26-30 bumper pull. And try to add a third axel if it doesnt come with one. Need to shopw around more. Even if i cant get teh cruise rin one i still want one for the dirt bikes and lil jeep for the sand. Nice Ride though

As for exhaust, i really have no idea what to stay away from. youll want at least a 4 inch though and probably a turn down tail pipe to keep that trailer clean

I'm an everything dealer! {Wink} U tell me what you want. Want an edge juice/att AND an edge evo for your 7.3? According to some people it can keep up w/ the fueling stock and the evo makes the trans real happy.

I'll have some quotes ready monday for ya Lilbronc!

Ive got a DMax too, from what i have read u really dont need a cold air intake unless ur running over 500HP then u might notice a difference. Dont know if its true or not, but everyone on the internet seems to think the same on that.
I would just def get a EGT and Boost gauge, if ur running a chip of any kind.
And as people have said here the air bags do make a difference, i love mine. Exhaust is key! 4" Banks exhaust works great with mine and I got rid of the wanabee cat/exhaust chamber, helps get the hot air out.
