Toyotas suck. They run on rice, you have to have small hands to work on them and the axles explode when you do wide open throttle side to side bounces up obsticles......and who told you I was a freak. I told that broad to keep her mouth shut!!

Depends on what you want to do with your rig? Im sold on Yota cause the rirst time I got to do the Rubicon was in one, and it rolled right through it.  If you're looking for something like that ids say Toyota, if you want a Comp rig, then go bigger. Just my weak 2cents

Right now I just want to wheel in an out, not looking to run the box or soup. Later on I want to build something for that. So again, what do you want to do with it?

I didn't know that in 94.  Had to make do with it till some guy was smart enough to put an IFS box on an old frame.

hell the first sas I saw had the steering swapped to for the push/pull type.

Re: Toyota vs. Dana (6th Jul 09 at 6:55am UTC)
aftermarket toy parts have come a long way in 15 years..... despite what some of you may think they hold up well, I wheel the shit outta my rig and the axles hold well, my rig looks like its been thru 5 years of hard shit and I just finished it last August and have been upgrading since (it was super clean to start with) so much for a cheap ass ring and pinion I never let break in in the front.... kinda hard when I dont drive with my front in on the street, though I bet some 60 gears would blow too if you bought cheapys and didnt break em in (I was also driving stupid I admit that  played a big role) but other than that there not bad my shafts will hold up better than some stock 60 shafts :flipoff:  and they only cost 600 try to buy some upgraded 60 shafts of chromo 44 shafts for that..... Id say the axles are pretty damn strong when you can hammer down with 38's and the only thing that blows is 5 teeth on the ring gear that was new cheap and never broke in, in the same spot Ive seen 60 stuff blow in fact weekend before I heard Brenden lost a stub shaft and J dub lost his rear output.....and if I had better gears (which I will go ahead and spend the 200 over the 125 this time) that wouldnt have happend, and 2 I was driving a little on the stupid side..... but yeah I guess toyota shit is weak  :fake:  I didnt loose my axle shafts steering back and forth fully locked pinned with 38's or my t case output {Confused} ?{Confused} must be that soy sauce, and a welded j arm come on baggy thats asking for it I understand it was 15 years ago but Ive seen some back yard double sheer j arm top and bottom stuff that would hold better than that it can be done....and a good high steer kit for a yota with billet arms and DOM drag link and tie rods is like 300 something come on..... there is a lot of aftermarket support for yotas now in fact they have 32 spline output kits for the t case hmmmm sounds to me like thats what you guys are putting in yor 231's and 300's.... and what comes in an atlas.....and if you wanna do a dig they have bullet proof rear disconnects too... marlin also just came out with 25mm steering pins for the yota so now the kingpin on the trunion is just as big as a 60 sounds like there getting pretty strong to me....... my next two upgrades on my rig are gonna be a full floater kit w/ either 300m or 4340 shafts in the rear and the 25mm steering pin kit in the front, the axles will be damn near bullet proof at that point, cryo the ring and pinion and Ill run it against someones 60's lets go!! and all in all I honestly dont have that much money in them either compaired to a 60 with similar parts, my rig also will burn out and get sideways with my little 4 banger and 38's on the street funny how if you dont have a p.o.s running motor them 4 little angry squirrels do just fine, may not be no cool stock 225 hp 302 or a 190 hp tbi 350 but for a little 2.4 litre 125 ponies aint bad compairing power per cubic inch :flipoff:  in fact if you wanna play that game the toyota spanks em' its got almost 1 hp per inch a stock 302 or 350 isnt no were near that.......so sway if you like toyota stuff go for it, if you like jeep stuff or full buggy go for it too....... there all good parts I have nothing against 60's 300's a v8 none of it I just like my toyota sorry if that seems weird to some of you, in fact when I do find a job again in this shit economy I do plan on building a buggy and really I want to find some portal axles I might go 60's or rockwells who knows it depends on the deal I can find and it will have a v8, but I will most likely keep my toyota for trail runs and long camping trips who knows but for now I still love my toyota junk and if you like it too Sway I say buy a TOYOTA and let them talk shit.......

Why cant you do that with a Toyota, with Toyota axles under it?
