| | Re: Transmission ??? (26th Jun 09 at 1:43pm UTC) | | I have striopped an input and couldn't get the torque converter off so I through the whole trans away and picked up another from J&W and went right back to wheelin.... that was the Jeep though Nowe I have a heavy ass blazer ands with a couple upgrades I have been just abusing that rig and the trans is still laughing its ass off.....
I agree with the whole full body trail rig, I don't want to scratch my paint or dent my rig theory but if you really want to drive it like you stole it , like on its side in winch hill 1 or the box I think the auto's been great!! just my .02 cents and I really like both worlds, I do think manuels require/make you a better driver cause going to an auto from a manuel felt stupid easy!!,,,,,.......lol....
Of course I had Keith build my junk and its been great which is alot more than I can say for Mobile trans in the OV who had to warranty the 4L60 they rebuilt for my old DD | |
