I found this on my truck last week on my way to the event. Good thing it didnt come off down the freeway with the rig on the back. By the way, thats 3/8" plate ripped in half! The new one I bought is a class five, rated at 14K....should be good enough.

Fawk Dodge hitches…. I went to pull out my receiver a couple of days ago and almost had to hook it to something to pull it out. The holes on the hitch where the pin goes were so elongated and messed up it wedged the receiver in there tight as a 12 yr old. I think the stock hitch is only rated at like 7000 lb or 7500 lb ? on the newer dodges. Dumb asses sell u a truck that can pull down a house with a ford escort style hitch. Mine might be extra sweated from trying to run all the Prius’ and gooks off the road though. Regardless iv heard several bad things about dodge hitches..
