I was at pit 2 nearly all day. Had a Great time. Changed out a Coil over for hengl, couple tires for Anderson/cheeks, filled up Dougs thirsty beast. Doug and Phil came in 38th, anderson and cheeks were only a few minutes behind in 39th.

The race was awesome!, the weather was damn near perfect, the dust sucked as usual.... Smiley

yeah brian.. it sucked, you didn't miss anything {Grin}

the race was really tough and long. got f-cked on the LCQ so we weren't supposed to race... then dave cole announced that everyone with a running rig could pay the rest of the fees and go racing! So we were stoked to get in... and flat out excstatic that we finished.

Re: koh 2012 (22nd Feb 12 at 2:45am UTC)
yeah... first lap fun... second lap sucked ass. every time we peaked a mountain you could see the excellent partying going on in camp... back in the hole, more rocks, back up... oh crap look at how much fun is going on over there... oh but it so far away. goddamn red line isn't that long anymore but the f0cking rocks never stop!!!!!!!

if this year was easier I'm very glad it's the year we chose to race. like cheeks said, spooners and outerlimits sucked. not terribly hard but versus the 2 mins it took to cover the same ground on lap one it was just agonizing.

Re: koh 2012 (22nd Feb 12 at 2:57am UTC)
Spooners wasn't bad but outer limits sucked. Last year we went up it twice, and up resolution and up back door and up jack, and down wrecking ball and a bunch of others. This year was easier, we went down a lot of the harder trails.

Do what you gotta do!

Re: koh 2012 (23rd Feb 12 at 4:54am UTC)
yeah... if they sent it up just back door and resolution again this year the flow of the race would have been even more f-cked. The only traffic jambs we got in were lap 1 elvis (really? yeah) choco thunder, wrecking ball. we didn't see anyone lap 2 lol. except cheeks and larry right before resolution.
