The f-toy came with a dead as hell redtop optima. Anyone got the hook up on getting a warranty on these? Thanks!

The warrany sucks on optimas They pro-rate off the list price. You can buy a new one for less :jerk you: Try hooking jumper cables from dead optima to known good battery for four hours then trickle charge for 2 days. Usually will bring dead optima back to life.

I'v "herad" you can buy one at costco, then return your dead one for cash. This might take a few months though.

All you have to do is bring it to an autozone. If they test it and it comes up bad they will replace it. They might give you a hard time at first but just speak to a manager and tell them you called Optima and they said you could bring it to Autozone which is an authorized retailer. I did it for 3 different batteries (2 red and 1 yellow) in the past 6 months. Dont deal with the guys behind the counter. They will say no because you dont have a receipt. Just say that your GF bought it for you for xmas 2 years ago. They might try to look you up in the computer but just play dumb.
