| | LIMIT STRAP (22nd Mar 09 at 4:33pm UTC) | | Well whats your guys opinion on using them? I know Cheeks and a few others run them on all 4 corners. And others dont use them at all.
Only reason im thinking about running one, is CJ out at prairy City over extended his air shock and it was stuck permentely all the way out!
He is only running toy axels and this happened. So i could only imagine how much more weight my dana 80 and 47's r and the amount of stress added.
Should i throw some on before the hammers? | |

fully extending the shock is BAD.you will end up with somthing like cj has. the rod guide and piston will end up binding in the shock body and getting stuck and bend your shaft. cj is lucky he has 1.250 shafts on his air shocks. if it was a .625 or .875 it would have broke. so in a short answer, yes put them on before jv | |
