So I bought a new welder (4th Feb 09 at 4:05pm UTC)
and I love it, I sold my stinkin lincoln a while back and the coulpe Ive borrowed were lincolns and I just love the way a Miller welds over a lincoln, with the lincoln the guns and liners are touchy, the rollers for the wire are tiny and make for splattery starts and if your cord isnt layed out right the rollers have a hard time shoving the wire through.. these are the pro mig from home depot lincolns the not the power migs that they sell at the welding store so that has a lot to do with it. Plus I needed something of the 220v flavor so here she is all shiny and new, now I have no excuse to not finish my turd air bagged truck so I can sell it and use the cash towards a down payment on a house!!!!! Smiley It feels like christmas again!!!

Once you go blue you..........lol I had the 210 but......my old business partner bounced with it but thats a sore subject, the 210 is a great machine but I was kinda buying just what I needed at the time for the best dollar, I felt like a 140 was a waste of money for my use and the 210 was just a bit more than I wanted to spend right now expecially trying to save for a down payment on a house... but it accepts the spoolmate 100 now so I can still do aluminum and stainless shit so it'll be good for around the garage. If I had the money to burn I would have gotten the 252 but I wanted some longfields too so the 180 it was I wont be welding over 5/16" hardly ever so it will do and in the case I was welding 3/8" or larger I can cut the edges and burn it twice no biggy

Out the door was over a 1000, once you buy the welder get one with a cart cause thats only 20 more, buy a roll of wire, a bottle and tax your there, but the alternative was spend 600-700 on a used one with no warranty (not like millers break but peace of mind is good) buy a bottle, and wire and tax on those 2 items your still sittin at 900-950 so I got a newbie plus it has that new welder smell.....

Kody... what are you putting under your rig? let me know how the cutter does how thick does it cut?

Forgot to mention the new line from miller has auto set kinda a dumby poof deal you pick your wire and metal thickness and the machine does the rest, you dont have to use it but its there I usually burn things in a little hotter anyway but Im gonna try it and see what it does, it has auto shut off when you ground out the tip, you can run the spoolmate 100, I think even on the 140 you can also, new cooling features, I think there was a couple other small impovements too I cant remember.
