well i pulled the bronco out today under its own power. but reverse no worky. it tries but acts like the trans is bound up. didnt have time to investigate further, but hey it finally drove. oh and the 400 is one torque filled bitch.

Dont drive it if the band is too tight. It wont like it when the direct drum is held by the band, and the direct clutches come on. Outch

lol i moved it 12 total feet before checking the full range and finding the reverse issue. was on the old pull the string throttle method as well. phil it will fully smoke em by the feel of that motor.

yeah i saw in the factory book about adjusting that band and i really dont recall the turn and a half backoff in the rebuild manual i had used. so that will be step one and then the 1st gear only check.

cant drive and do video too. no free hands, and i adjuted the intermediate band and now i have forward and reverse. sic. so now the tops back on and im off to work on the cage. damn im glad. still have a ton of body stuff to work out but that will be after it gets prettymuch done.
