I got a chance to check out the solid knuckles in Moab they are the shit. Monster beef as far as amount of material in the knuckle. Plus there have 6! holes. No way one of those will twist in half

Re: Looking for some knuckles and high steer arms - Posted By jeremyhengl (jeremyhengl) on 18th Apr 08 at 11:25pm
i vote stock ones {Grin} haven't had any problems yet and pretty sure it weighs more then your buggy will , also make sure your ram stops itself before your steering stops ,
i think thats how most people break em {Unsure}
but since i know you won't settle for stock i like the ones with the big key way machined in to the knuckle and high steerarm
those are bad ass

Re: Looking for some knuckles and high steer arms - Posted By TROUT (fishmouthfabworks) on 22nd Apr 08 at 9:53pm
now please understand im not stickin' up for vendors,because there are douchebag ones out there. but its not always the guy you ordered it from fault. we get stuff from other vendors, who get it from their vendors. and if one of those gets fawked up, everybody is pissed. I agree you shouldn't charge someone until the part has shipped. but you got to understand we have to buy that part from the vendor, and dont always have a bunch of cash in the bank to order that part. hence the pay now, get later.

Re: Looking for some knuckles and high steer arms - Posted By HOGAN (hogan) on 22nd Apr 08 at 10:31pm
The situation you described is always understandable. The problem is that some venders need to sack up and just say what you did rather than just promising shit and then leaving you hanging when the promise is broken. This isn't applying to any vendors in paticular (well not any of the above mentioned or venders on the forum) but some I have delt with I won't be going back to.

Re: Looking for some knuckles and high steer arms - Posted By kranker (kranker) on 23rd Apr 08 at 9:07am
i think we all know shit happens but come on 3to 8 weeks give me a break. if you cant get it in a timely fashion let me know and i will try my luck and order them straight from the dealer (or the other guy) {Grin} i have never had to wait so long for a dam part. i order parts for a living and i get back ordered parts all the time but never had to wait 3 to 8 weeks for them to get me the parts. {Tongue Out} just my two cent (what do i know) {Grin} {Rolleyes}

Sorry to hear that your buddys info tarnish's our Name with all the support we try and give the 4 wheeling comunity, we try and bend over backwards and we are not a corporate monster and try to stock as much as we possibly can within reason this is a truly custom market.

we do not order parts until paid in full or order has been made. period that is a misunderstanding people have
I cant begin to tell you the amount of people that have burned us on ordering stuff and we get stuck with it,

We are also trying to deal with shortages we cannot control Manufactuer delays and backorders custom orders Beadlocks Etc or lost shipments this is a fact of business and it happens on a day to day basis.

Most of our customers are repeat based of work or parts we have supplied to them every body is entiled to there opinion of any shop,
if you base it of someone elses situtuation your are not giving us a chance

if someone has an issue they can call the shop and speak directly to me 916-686-5757 and I will reslove the matter I am not affraid to step out and deal with issues
