good deal on a atlas (5.0 $2000.obo) but i can get my 231 built for 1100 bucks or so. what should i do...... keep saving and get the atlas and miss a few trips or build the 231 and be ready to wheel before the first trip. i have enough to build the 231 right now

i would just build the 231 i ran my stock one for years with 44 60 and 38 stock and never had a issue, weak link was 44" i know u already broke it, but i think the upgraded one should hold up just fine.

Something that is lighter and way shorter. WIth a higher input torque rating than an Atlas. Stak will also gauranty their case behind a big block. AA won't

#1 running an auto and 4:1 wasnt low enough i think I am going to love the 3:1 and 5:1 over the 2:1 and 4:1
#2 building a buggy the 203/205 just to fricken heavy, I can pick up and move the stak around fine, now way to do that with the 203/205
#3 sold my 203/205 for $1300, to offset the stak cost of $2899
#4 to triple stick and change out the front output to a 32 spline was going to cost me more money into the 203/205. i feel better to just sell it and but a more compact set up.
well it looks like its going to be the 231 probably just the 4 to 1 kit, seeing how might be trading the jeep for something fancy![]()
