toyota to chevy u-joints (13th May 08 at 1:24am UTC)
I need to get some spare u-joints before memorial day for my truck. I have toyota drivelines and chevy dana 44 axels. I have gone to a shop in west sac in the past but they cost almost $50 each! Does anyone know if there is a way to mix common u-joints to make it work or a better place to buy em?

I talked to Sean at River City Differential today on this subject. In years past we had the same DL joints you are talking about. Sean said only one company makes them. He used A&A driveline when ever we needed stuff like that. A&A (bud) has closed the doors on the shop. We were paying $30 - $40 a piece for them a while back so I would say $50 is a fair deal for them now.
I don't use that stuff anymore so if you get one and want to bring it over I'll see if we can match it up to what I have around here. I could have one and not even know it
