Help need for DSUS (14th Jul 11 at 6:12pm UTC) For those with rigs who are avail........ desperate!!
Subject: Help need for DSUS Hi My name is Kathy Medley, I work with Kathy Martin & am part of the Sierra Treasure Hunters 4Wheel Club, I am also the “foodlady” for Trek & Winter Fun. We, STH, are hosting DSUS on Saturday the 16th of July, staging at Ice House for the participants at 9:00 am, & running the back way thru McKinstry (spelling) to the slabs & around. For various and frustrating reasons several of our club members have now backed out of driving for the event. I have 3 drivers with capable rigs and 11 participants & knowing 4wheeling like I do I would like to have a spare rig. If you would please send my plea out to your clubs for help I would appreciate it. I believe that most of our participants this year have physical issues and a few with Downs issues. It truly is a rewarding experience. One of the ladies coming has been on every trip and she states that our trips are one of the highlights of her year. Please contact me for any questions or concerns I really need some help if at all possible. I dread the idea of disappointing a participant by telling them I could not come up with enough volunteers for this awesome event.
