Help out a new local 4x4 Forum (23rd Feb 10 at 10:41pm UTC)
Hey, their is a new 4x4 forum/club starting up in the are. Its mostly younger guys without a whole lot of money just wheelin what they've got and trying to build up their rigs the best they can. They arent trying to be Bad Asses or challenge other clubs in the area, they're just here ot have fun and get out there and wheel. If you wouldn't mind, it would be cool if you could go on and register on the forum and maybe post some build or whatever on there. Also, if you ahve any advice about running a forum or a club or a website or anything, it would be much appreciated.

The website: www.roktribe.com

You can send a messgae via the "contact us" link on the sight with any advice.

Thanks

Ok some quick advice from me would be, get rid of the music on the pages, some peoples computers don't load that well and it will take longer to view the pages. we had music on ours and I got rid of most of it. #2 is get rid of all the pics of you guys running over palnts and shit and being of trail, welcome to the internet! everything is in the public eye now, be careful wht you post!!! Also get rid of the forum you guys use and scroll to the bottom of this page and get one of these forums, they are free and alot better. Hope that helps. Good luck!

Do what you gotta do!

I remember being a young buck trying to make a name for myself in this game. Much simpler times.

No, we dont hang out off Westahven, must be some different "Youngsters"haha

Thanks for the advice. I will look into the music thing, so far I dont think anyone has had issues but deffinatly good to consider. And I deffinatly agree about taking pictures down. I've been telling the president (or chief as the guys in the "ROKTRIBE" call him) to take down the areas where it says Lomida and Cameron park because I dont think its legal to be out there.

About the forum, how does that work? Can we take one of those forums and use it on our website with our website provider and such? The president just spent $40 for the domain name and to have it hosted by thet hoster.

Yeah its free, you just link your page to it. Real easy, when you click forum on your page, it would go to this type of forum.

Nope, not us. In fact these days their is only one yota in the group. The president, or "Chief" as he likes to say isn't realy doing much to get it into a real club so its just a few guys that go wheelin' every once in a while. Kinda disappointing. I was all ready to help it grow, and T-Carp got on the forum and tries to get it going but no one else is into it.
