I love the place....always have.....and my rig is pretty fawkin narrow, and have no issue with the width at Moonrocks....hell, if I had a blingin camper, I would probably go there more often, but the wind sucks for tent campin :thumbsup:

Also Pyramid Lake is just 2 hills over. Hell I'm going to try the route Kieth was talking about and it should be 15-20minutes from my house near Frenchman's lake...great tent camping. Open offer BTW if you're in my neck of the woods and need some welding/parts/WTF ever just stop in. 94012 HWY chilcoot CA about 100yards west of the Frenchman's lake turn off. 20minutes from Fordyce and if Keith is correct about 20minutes from Moonrocks

He had the new USAF digi cap on so probobly. I don't remember his cage being rusty, however I do remember a grey(?) jeep that was kinda crappy looking but effective and a rusty cage. I even comented on it. I just dont get throwing that much $$ into a cage and not spending another $20 on some paint for rust protection. IMHO you need to be as good of a sport winning as you do losing, not get butthurt and start taking risks with a few thousand pound vehicle. For example Imuz Me struggled but he and the club did what it had to do to get him through. I enjoyed that more then watching other rigs blow by. I was also amazed at that little 22R almost on it side puking gas still sputtering.

its nice to get some nevada guys on here welcome to our website thanks for regestering , let me fill you in alittle the grey crappy lookin jeep with the rusty cage was welder boy (Bill) from the pirates that thing may be alittle deceiving it has an LS-1 atlas II and a bunch of other goodies , he has his own shop in sac and fabs for a living . Abbazabba is jiMMythejerks girlfriend who is also a Zombie and as you can tell enjoys taking really good photos . The pirates usually don't mean harm or to be assholes but being such a well known club they are kind of always in the spotlight (being watched) and were ever they go people always find something negative about them , no one ever spots out that they really do alot of good things . (well those that still wheel) and aren't in the retirement home, YET.

That grey Jeep was very easy to recognize as effective....looks or not. His woman was also having a blast and ready for more rocks. Wish my wife had balls like that for wheeling.

Most of us do have comp buggies but Ill be more than happy to get five rigs together to come play!
