4 seater buggy (21st Sep 09 at 5:37pm UTC)
Well I was cutting the cab off the toyota to build a buggy, the whole sheetmetal thing isnt working for me.... I will still be building the toy chassis next season with a V8, bigger axles, etc. but for the time being Im taking the drivetrain out of the toy and throwing it in this to wheel next season, should be a fun lightweight rig!!!

Im putting some coils in I have layiing around out of a cadillac and an aerostar, unless I can find a smoking deal on air shocks or coil overs... we'll see how it works!!!!!! This thing was built a few years back cut apart and narrowed and then sat in my buddys shop a while never getting finished, it has a lot of tube work to be finished up and some of the welds from the original builder arent the best but its a decent start!!!

I also have some TJ stock coils I will donate if you need them.. ....This is how it always starts. No looking back now.

Yep dark side it is....lol

Since this one will have toyota running gear underneath still Im looking for ideas of different toy front ends to run on this thing{Confused} {Confused} I like the FJ40 front end but is not so rare and it will be expensive and this thing is gonna be built on bottom dollar so....... maybe FJ50 or 60 or even later model I dont know, if anyone runs across a hood and grill off something toyota let me know.... might just use the hood and grille off the truck if it comes down to it but just tossing ideas around...

I might take you up on the springs Baggy, are they front or rear springs? Im gonna start doing some research on spring rates for different ones, I might get the links done with everything mounted and then get it weighed and start from there, does anyone know somewhere that can measure each corner separately?

At the moment nothing... Ive decided to keep the toy together and put full widths and a v8 in the buggy, I might be joining the air force so this thing may get sold or something.....
