I put them on friday. They are a very quiet and comfy ride. they are 255/85/16 bfg km2's.

NIce man, good spacing in the back between the tires?
Re: new shoes - Posted By bigbadjeepster (bigbadjeepster) on 1st Jun 09 at 6:58pm
they rubbed so I had to get a 2" spacer.

Very nice.
How do those tires rate for driving and towing? I guess, what is the life like? My BFG's haven't lasted me anything close to there warranty and I am going with something else next.

load range E. People are getting 50-60k out of these things. I did my homework before I made the purchase.

Very nice.
They look great and by the sounds of what you say work even better.

They are quite
I guess the only ones I have driven have been bigger, but they were noisy bitches....I was thinking about getting them until I drove a couple others trucks.
Are they really quite, or just quite compared to other mud terrains?
Re: new shoes - Posted By bigbadjeepster (bigbadjeepster) on 7th Jun 09 at 5:46pm
they are quiet for what they are. I noticed a slight hum over the street tires that were on it.

I like those
even though my dmax is only a 2 wheel drive I wanna put a more aggressive tire on partly due to the fact it will need all the help in the traction department if I get in a shitty situation and two just for the longgevity of the tires the street super soft tires that were brand new on my truck when I got it are wearing out fast I bet I barely get 20k out of them but they are cheapy soft tires too cant expect too much I guess..... Cheeks what do those tires run a piece?
Re: new shoes - Posted By bigbadjeepster (bigbadjeepster) on 8th Jun 09 at 7:17am
$195 ea
Re: new shoes - Posted By bkizzle (bkizzle) on 8th Jun 09 at 7:38pm
195 isnt cheap but its not bad expecially if people are getting 50-60k out of them, for the mileage Id say thats a better deal than most tires

we'll see how true that is.

Just FYI, the actual weight rating on the tire is more important that the load rating.
For example, my 305/60r20 toyo's were load range E with a wieght rating of 3150lbs at 65 psi.
My 315/70r17 bfg's are load range D with a wieght rating of 3250lbs at 50psi. It may only be an 8ply tire, but is rated for more wieght than the 10 ply toyos.
Just in case anyone cares
