Sounds like air in the line! Also I know some guys like running ATF but my pump works much better with power steering fluid

I would also get a good ps fluid(i use GM ps fluid) ,bleed air out of the lines and maybe it has something to do with make thoes holes you made bigger.

I'd start from scratch with a new pump and new piston. Then t a gauge into the pressure side of the orbital. Should be making like a 1000 psi or so. Rebleed. It doesn't take much to toast the pump.

So replaced pump Friday with another pump from wrecking yard (pump3) still nothing blead pump blah blah fucken nothing
so when i was in tech for the race I saw the guys from PSC and thought oh shit they might know something well I thought wrong all they did is dog on the pump I am runing
great these guys aparently don't know shit what a great help they were
when I got home I decide to get a new pump from napa because when I break the presure line from at the orbital there is no presure it just dribles out , replaced Pump today with number 4 and nothing
also tried a known good orbital from mikey rig ffffffffffffffuuuuuuiuuuuucccccccccckkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkk

that is weird? Could the shaft be spinning freely as if it is striped. I know i just replaced mine a few months ago. Just threw a new pump on dumped fluid in and turned the wheels back and forth with the cap off and it was fine.....
Weird......
I would do what baggy said about throwing a gauage on there and see what kinda pressure you are getting?

Could something be clogged in one of the lines? Pretty unlikley 4 pumps are bad. I hope you get it worked out bro.

When I cracked the presure line at orbital or at pump with the motor runing pump spining all I got out was a drible don't need gauge to tell me that the pressure is under 50psi
I started changed the adapter that is hooked between stock pump and my hydro line and that fixed the fucken bastard it back finally the old adapter must have been slightly diffrent than the new one ?
