np 231 - Posted By kranker (kranker) on 10th Jun 09 at 10:35am
who knows a lot about the 231? i droped my t-case last night and took it apart and it looks like nothing is broke! when the t-case was in the jeep the jeep would only move if in four wheel drive. the front driveshaft is the only one that had power. you could hold the rear driveshaft with your hand and it would not spin (it was not hooked up to the diff). so my question is wheres it broke? any help would be would be great.. thanks :kranker:

I have found out the hard way that all the NP231 are not the same. Depending on what it is out of you cant always take the guts out of one and put it in another.

You would thing they would make them all identical......NOPE
