Had a great trip. Made it back in 8 hours, wahed everything, unloaded and started drinking beer. All the rigs did pretty well for the most part. Back door claimed a few more this year. Good times :booze:

Had a great time down at the hammers! Yes it was super windy Friday all day. Driving back from Aftershock got hit by a wall of sand and couldnt see 10ft in front of the rig. Luckly everyone stopped and nobody got rearended. I got to wheel a few new trails for me Aftershock, Outerlimits and Wrecking Ball. Tiltons rig did great. Had a few issues to workout on the trail. Only major problem was his atlas. I'll post up pics later today

Well a fun but EXpensive weekend. Made it from boone rd/247 to PLACERVILLE in 8hr 15min and that includes stoping at mcDonalds and eating there, toping off at barstow, and then refuling again in modesto. Set the cruise control at 73 and still got 14.7MPG! :thumbsup:
The wind was inSAYING!!!!!!!!!!!!
Friday ran wrecking ball, then Highway 20, got to the last little water fall and was super bound up!!!!! tried to continue and BOOM!!!!!!!!
Rear CV GERANATED!!!!!
Had to leave rig there do to wind conditions!
Went to town got it fixed saturday morning, and got to wheel all day and night!
Sunday woke up ready to go home, got talked into trying backdoor, and..... took a pretty big bounce and blew up the same CV i just got butt raped for!, and my 32 spline rear output on the 205!!!!!!!!!!

Friday morning, unloaded off the trailer and straight to Resolution.

Right before the last waterfall this is a new line that nobody has made it up yet. Mark is a local guy down there and gave it hell, almost made up up!

so i broke the front t-case yoke on back door thursday night , and rode the dirt bike around until b-wit brougt me my yoke ,
made it about half way up jack

well excellent trip, till i KO'd my drawbar(bent the ball down 1/2in) and bumper, jack knifing the set up coming down our gravel driveway, too much weight i guess cuz its been fine the other times.

towing kinda took for ever, 10hrs,(im a puss) 50-55, the wind suckd on the way home on 247 and 58. need to tightn up the dodge front end and get some sway controll dealios. truck had more to go. 35-45 in 3rd gear on the tahachapies.

hand calculated 12.6 mpg, computer said 14.7

cruiser did fine.

glad to b home.

Great to finally go wheeling with you guys, I had a lot of fun and enjoyed wheeling and drinking with everyone in the group. Big Rob we're going to meet up on the trail one of these days, wish you were at the hammers.

I went through and edited all the pics off my computer but I need some more pics from Saturday on wrecking ball, and if anyone has video please get ahold of me or goodby so I can put it into the movie i"m making of the hammers 09 trip.

Here are some of my photo's. Fun trip! Could of gone with out the hurricane winds, but it was kinda funny watching people getting ripped out of the trailer when the wind caught the door

I have finally made two successful trips to the hammers. It was a great time but I need to wheel more and sit around less. But there's always next time. The Unimog was riduclous, it was very impressive.

Looks fun! Gotta love that wind kickin up on the lake bed.

Was that one of hingls new outputs/inputs or whatever? Time for a stack!

for the past four months i had to listen to tilmon tell me how i was going to get smoked up the sand hill. how his motor came out of a truck and mine was out of a muscle car . i told him this yoear we would run best out of three so he couldnt complain and the winner took home 20 bucks. his dad has the video but i dont think he will post it. here is a pic of the winner....
