Had a good time. Glad Phil and Justin could come out and play for the day! :booze: Halfway through our adventure, my front drive line came off, stuck in the ground and broke my tcase in half. Broke the pinion off the front end as well. Good times. Thanks to my buddy big Jim for the tow home today. Time for the atlas and one tons! hehehe

That was the first part my pop purchased for his tcase, thats pretty common with the fj40 case without the stiffiner plate
good shit though!!!!!!
took the front end apart and took the diff to RCD. Should be done by noon tomorrow. Picked up a transfercase fron Hengl's buddy today. Also ordered a xfercase plate. Should have it together by Wed. Totals a $600 brake. ooops. I'll take it easy next time!
Make sure you get the fine spline pinions. If you can suppose to be stronger it think.??

Should be swinging donuts by noon!!!!!

no more broken cases. I added a brace and installed the t-case today. Everything is back to normal...for now!
sweet!!! those cases are pretty strong, adding the plate gets rid of the one big downfall to them, does yours have all the vacuum switch shifting or linkage?
I converted it to mechanical linkage
