where the hell can i get a 16lb splitting maul? been looking for a wile and cant seem to find one...just blew up the second handle on my smaller one and im tired of hacking away on this shit. let me know what you guys use.

A 20lb sledge and a few splitting wedges get the job done. unless you're talking about wheelin stuff. then I just bring a good axle w/ a single wedge and use the back of the axe as a hammer until it breaks, then I freeze and warranty it when i get home.

Did you try Camino power tool. 16 is heavy.

yUP Baggy just nailed it. I would say there. I bought one from home depot about 2 yrs ago, with a fiberglass handle that has worked fine. As soon as I get the money for a wood stove I think im going to hit up Pops to barrow his log spliter. Then I can drink beer the whole time and just sit there.... My kinda style.

Haha. Growing up in Pollock I was Pops log splitter. When I moved he got a pellet stove and snow blower {Grin}
