Well, I sold my 1991 toyota that was always giving me problems. Now I'm looking for a solid axle yota to buy. My budget is about $2500, maybe $3000 if its the right truck. Let me know if you know of anyone thats looking to sell.
-Thanks
Why did you sell it? That would have been a great truck to sas.
X2! That truck would have been perfect. Good luck finding any strait axled toy in good enough shape that dosnt need a lot of work for that price! there going for about 5000 for something in decent shape that isnt falling/rusting apart.
Are you looking for a SA truck because you don't want to do a SAS? Its not really worth it the same amount of work is involved really to set it up right well besides a little cutting out of the IFS, the only thing is you don't need to find a axle, the stock straight axle spring hangers are worthless and need to be cut off, steering box needs to be thrown away and an IFS box installed, to find a SA truck with all this done will run you at least 5k if not more depending on lockers, gears, tires, etc, and in my opinion stay away from carb'd trucks they are guttless compared to EFI trucks
i found one truck on the CL (posting ID# 1624169163) But i also found a jeep cherokee that could be pretty cool (posting ID# 1621437285) Thats all i have found in your price range. I will keep looking for you
yea that one is a motor swaped truck with out the smog registration BS completed so looking at another few hundred dollars to get it checked out and registered. could be a pretty big headache!
I'll sell you a K15 for $3k.
I know where there is an 84 standard cab,529's locked dual t-case new 35s,bobbed,chevy springs in back and I think 44044s in front 22r carb just painted black asking $4k Little more than u wanted to spend but well worth it. It's not mine but a friends. located in wheatland. Let me know...
The first add Kranker posted is a good deal the ref is super easy to deal with especially just going to an EFI 22r and doesn't cost anything more than just the smog test afterwords.....Cole did his and they even argued a couple things weren't right and they still let it thru.... the dovetail job only doing the rear section is kinda ugg but its a good deal slap a chain in it take the body lift off and run it! maybe get some 35's but its not a bad start for the price
