I'm lookin for a good place to take my dad to go rent and shoot some 9mm, an indoor range somewhere. Hes gettin ready to buy a 9mm and his birthday is comin up so I thought I'd take him to go shoot a few and see what he likes. Anyone know a good place?
-Thanks
Also, if anyone wants to go shoot some clays up in forest hill or somethin sometime hit me up.
The gun room in Elk Grove on Grant Line Rd. Indoor range and they rent.

Ya, thats where I was thinking I'd go. Sounds like a cool place. Unfortunatly the gun my dad is thinking he wants to buy is in the low price range so the gun room doesnt have it to rent but they have a more expensive version of it and it will still be fun.
Hes thinking he wants to buy the Rugar p95. My mom is against him buying another gun so hes goin for the p95 partialy because its less than $400.haha
The P95 was my first hand gun. It was very cheap, thats why I bought it, but it shot straight, and never had any firing problems. The lower is 100% plastic, so it feels very uneven when not loaded, but you get used to it.
Cool. Thanks for the tip uglyranger. My dad and I will only use the gun for target shooting and gunning down an intruder ebery once in a while so I think the p95 will get the job done.
I'm thinkin I want to play around with a 45 while I'm at the range too. Anyone have any other advice on fun guns to shoot there?
Springfield XD's shoot very nice.....and Kimber 1911's are......well......Kimber's so......
Cool, thanks for the tip.
