shim's. good, bad, get rid of them. its been to long
My experience with them is they seem to cut the center pin life in half. Try to avoid using them if you can.
I ran them for a long time on my rear 60 when it was still leaf sprung. I got some steel ones, and welded them to the perch, never had an issue. The aluminum ones walk around, and smush down over time causing issues. if you have to run them, get steel ones, and weld them in;)

i have steel ones in the front right now and they are welded, but i have a little death wobble and i just trying to get rid of it and i was just wondering if these could be the problemi have already check the king pins and all the tie rod ends (all seem to be ok) i guess the axle needs to be cut and turned or go with smaller tires

Shims might be too big , how much caster you got ? And I forget do you have hyd assist, if not maybe put a steering stabilizer on
not sure on the caster but i do have hyd assist. i went through and tightened everything up last night so now i guess i need to get the tcase in it and take for a drive.
how r the wheel bearings? I know when My old 44 i had in the front started the death wobble. It was eaither a bad steering stabilizer/wheel bearings/ lost steering componets or slopy ball joint.

i have checked all those parts and all seam to be ok. i am going to try to balance the tireslol!
also i seem to remember Keith dealing with his kingpins when he was getting rid of death wobble?...just a thought
After everything is in order on the front axle put the shims in as a tool to see if the caster is out. If thats your problem leave them in for a bit till ya save some $$$$$$$ to get aftermarket c's
