Anyone every use them and is all they have are lifts? I know there are over priced, but is it worth it?
they make a nice product for a production kit. the short arm stuff drives like shit, because the axle moves back and forth instead of up and down.
the long arm kits dont climb well and panhards in the rear create a jacking effect inside the vehicle.I have cut off lots of rubicon stuff lately and put my own stuff on it.
I did buy there 4.5" extreme duty lift back in high school for the jeep.It was alright but over priced. The only thing I ever used them for besides that was break lines and spring pads.
So sounds like alot of money for something I may not be happy with?
Thanks
Did you get a rig to put said kit on?
If Trouts been so busy replacing all their shit with his then you should go get the shit he's replaced from his scrap pile!!...hahahahaha![]()

RE is cool..... BUT your application matters more than anything else.
If we're talking long arm kit:
Are you hanging 1 tons and 40's off it w/ 9" of lift. Or are you going to run stock or 1/2 ton axles and 33-37's w/ no more than 5" of lift?
If you chose the latter you're going to be satisfied. If you're going to go big then you'll hate the stuff. It's the best stuff you can get that pretty much bolts on if you're building light duty.
Which leads me to my final point. I'm an RE dealer and not scared to give a killer price on stuff.
No I havent found a rig yet, but just started looking a cherokee (I really want toyota) but everyone wants to much. Cherokees can be found for cheap, even lifted ones. Just wasnt sure if the Rubicon lifts were that much better then the others? So all they have are lifts right? No driveshafts, axles or anything else?
I owned a Cherokee back in the day that I built up and wheeled some. I currently own a Toyota and I would highly recommend buying a Toyota! Cherokees are cheap because they are crap. Biggest thing is they don't have a frame. Save your money and buy a Toyota or a Jeep with a frame and build it up from there. Just my opinion
I have always been happy with their products, and you can get builder parts from them also.

What are you looking to spend? do you want something ready to go or something cheaper that needs some work? Id definatly not waste your money on a cherokee, get a toyota second choice jeep
Well right now I dont have much, only 2k. I wish I had a tow rig cause I find alot of them for cheap that are not street legal. Right now Im looking for something to get in and out with, not really looking to go up soup bowl or run the box with it right now.
Once I have more money and a place to do it, Id like to build something bigger to do soup an the box.
Yeah 2k isnt much Ive seen a few decent yota for 3-4k clean ones too.....not anything special but you'd be able to go thru the con without any problems in em' I wouldnt waste the money on a cherokee expecially if your looking to upgrade laterjust keep saving and looking who knows theres always that person that is hurting for cash bad you never know what you'll run into
Haters! Get a cherokee, then build a jeepspeed!!!!!!![]()
I want a Yota, but will take what will get me there an back. In a few years I hope to build something with full axles an alot of tube.
i run there 4.5" coils and there pretty flexy for what they are, i also have there SF arms and so far i like themi can't complain about there prices cause i did'nt pay for my shit :boobs: i know guys that will tell you there stuff is crap and i know guys that will swear by them. it is what it is, just like everything else. this is my DD weekend wheeler but i beat on it a lot harder then i should for being my DD, everything holds up fine for me.
on the whole Cherokee thing, well i own one and i love it. the only downfall is not having a frame but thats an easy fix.there is plenty of room for the kids/friends, decent gas, lots of torque and the 4.0s are bulletproof. parts are readily available and cheap. of course i will say get one, of course the yota guys will say they suck it. get what floats your boat and build it right the first time
