I want to build one similar to this.


Who else besides jiMMy and Cheeks has a trail trailer.

i can move mine around by hand unloaded easily. cant wait to use it this summer with the jeep..

Thats what I was thinking. I amthinking some 38x 11.00x15 swampers on it. Like a 4ft. removeable tongue, that can mount from the front or the back. Make it super light so it can be thrown around off road when needed. Would be able to strap down to the car trailer with the tongue strait up to save space...The only problem is I would only use it on the 'Con or Fordyce.

Packing is the worst part i dread. Shit think about never having to unpack the rig ever again!!!!! :thumbsup:

Smurf is pretty badass, but I deduct points for not being smurf blue. Which is why you probably did'nt even know he had one

I have always wanted to build one with a turnable prop and paddles like a paddle-boat.

That way I could kick-ass in the trailer races in the river when they have them at the Springs.

I think I need an axle like this one.

Im sure you could come up with a creative way to make a spindle mounted wheel and eliminate the axle. Alignment would be a key concern but probably not to bad.

get a cheap dropped axle from a used trailer and flip it to make it a lift axle!!!! narrow it to where you need it!

I put mine to the test the other day. I drug home 1500lbs of copper. I coudnt believe those old ass springs took it! This weekend I'll be taking home another 1500lb load of copper as well.

yeah i was searching just for ideas. want mine out of tube and aluminum. hell if i can get access to a brake then ill build it to what i want. those others are stupid expensive, but nice options

There was a guy that went to the 'con last year with my dad and I he was kinda an ass but he had a nice trailer behind his buggy it had 1.5" pipe so that 1.5" tube slid in on top and pinned in so that it one keeps his shit from falling out and two you can roll it over without anything coming out or getting damaged the homemade hitch also pivited up and down and spun around so it would articulate on its own

I think the military trailers might be too heavy for my light squirrel powered buggy! I do like them though.......thanks for posting your pic Cheeks....by the way, is that one of the 4' x6' military's or a 4' x 4? (looks like 4x6)'

Yea, I've been searching Craigslist.....If I could find one like yours in a 4' x 4' I'd be stoked!

its a 4x6. The trailer is lighter then you think.

stock weight is 670lbs.

I went to Rivercity Diffs cause I know Sean has a 4x6 bantam and wanted to see how heavy these things are......
You are right, those things are surprisingly light for how big they are!

I still think a 4x6 is too big for my needs so I'm looking for a 4x4

Got it for $700.......He was asking $750 but wouldn't go any lower than $700.......The thing is in awesome shape though and having the weather tight top made it worth it to me.........plus he's going to look for his 360 degree pintle hitch and throw that in if he finds it........... :thumbsup:

It does come off, probably won't float though (but may have to give it a try!) LOL......

I was thinking of building a tube trailer with a small bench seat and a steering axle for the 2 oldest kids, that way when you get to an optional obsticle you pull the pin and lose your gear weight and the crying scared kids. Then u back in when your done, perfect.

$2800 I have a trailer that I want to build. I wish I had a garage.
