Got the trans out today with the help of Tilmon, and it turned out to be the gears in the pump that broke. Will post pics of carnage later

flush the tranny, put in a new super bad ass pump, and upgrade your intup shaft as well. You should be back on the trail in no time.

If you want your tranny built, I have a guy at work that loves side jobs and he's pretty damn good at building them. We just got done building Steve's diesel from Powertank as a side job. Put in a heavy duty convertor and clutches

The trans is already built, got good stuff in it, Keith built it when I was built the rig. I just need either a new pump or pump gears, for a C4 if you know of anyone

The speed thing is true but I never turned a wrench on my rig in two trips to the hammers! My toyota isn't fast on the flats but you don't have to worry about it on the trails
