The only things from the "old" one I am using is the motor, but i freshened that up and added some go fast parts, the rear end and the tires and wheels and winch. The rest is new stuff. My old chassis was 3-4 years old, time for a fresh start. Some bling should show up tomorrow I will post a pic

Its aluminum. I sanded it with a D/A sander. there are 10 pieces on it right now.

Will you be able to get the valve covers off without the header having to be removed? Looks close but its probably just the pic, I'm sure you didn't have alot of room to work with. Awesome job Dan!!!!

no you cant. you must sacrafice things to have some other things the way you want. there is not very much room. the driver side is kicked farther forward to keep away from the pedals. there are lots of things that have to come out to get to others. thats the way small buggies are.

No didn't get it figured out, I have no clue what the hell is wrong, I am so bummed I am bout ready to give up on this thing This sucks I am really doubtful I will even get to wheel this year at all..........we noticed that on the headers only two of them were gettin hot I don't know whats up hopefully you will see something I didn't or something

no worries ill put some time on it to figure it out. soemthing just isnt hooked up is all.

What is the idle problem you are having? I had an idle issue and it turned ot to be a simple vacume laek that was hard to see. A little hose came off it's port.

dies at idle but they get it to run fine if given gas, sounds like an issue with the idale air control unit to me.

It is the thermactor air diverter solenoid

as aposed to the one way zener diode check valve?

If not all the tubes on the headers were getting hot you should check each injector connection to see if they are pulsing with a test light, then check to be sure each cylinder is getting spark . I get my night scheduel today. I'll come by my next night off and give you a hand if your not rockin by the time I get there. Don't Give Up!!!

sweet ill work on mine then. stopped by to check it out today. damn carp you need some serious heat sheild, or header wrap.

Well its a no go, too much to do and not enough time time to do it. I built the transmission and messed up something up in it so it has no reverse, and I let all the smoke out of the wires also so instead of trying to go up I am pulling the tranny on friday nite and taking it to the tranny god (smurf) on sat and then throwing it back in. I may cruise up in the superduty on sunday to hang out and eat some tacos. So the NEXT deadline i will try and make is the last calrocs event in sept.

I swear come hell or high water I will wheel this f-ing buggy this summer wheeling season!!!!!! If not it will go up for sale. I do not want a snow wheeler I would have just bought a damn snowmobile acctually 3 of
them So a huge thank you to everyone who helped me try and get this thing on the trail! Dan, mike, and Tilton esp! Sorry I let everyone down

Are you running offset spacers inbetween the coilover tabs and the coilovers? I only ask because my front coils were setup very similar and the front wheel under full compression and heavily loaded up would break coilover shafts in half from binding in the tabs. Just trying to mabey save you some $.

there is no binding. the tabs are 90 of each other. they cancel eachother out.
