So, I was lucky enough to get some money back after taxes. After talking to the wife, or begging, I was able to move forward. So, I tore down my chassis and sold some things I don't need. Was happy to sell the chassis, but to some guy in Kentucky, and he paid for shipping.

Panels, Yes. Hoping to have some spare coin to get Mieky to make it look like a bronco. Keeping my 302, but upgrading to EFI.

Trout via MFS. Using my ford 302 but upgrading to EFI. It will be a 4 seater, even adults will be able to fit in the back seat. Tring to find an early bronco grill for the front.

Hope to be wheeling some time this summer.

1st production chassis. Though the rear is different to accommodate the 4 seats. Hoping to go to the shop tomorrow to get the drive train together and bring some parts for Trout.

so the last pic of the link attached to the sleeve that goes through the tubing. Is that for your upper link? If so just seems like a possible bending or breaking point. Im sure if trout had anything to do with it, its stout. Just currious I like getting different ideas on mounting things and learning how to make something work outside the box. But whats the story?.

Brian, I believe that is just one part of the upper link mount. The other part is a bracket from the tub to the misalignment spacer on the hiem. This is the same set up that Travis has on his rig.

But Dan can chime in.

Yeah it will end up being double shear.

Yes trout is one of those special people , he rode the short bus wears a helmet (all the time) and has a balloon

Mike, Yhea I used everything but the transmission. I wanted to go with an auto instead of the manual. So, my daughter should be driving this or next year.

Well, Trout did a Fab 'o' lous job. Couldn't be happier. Now I just have to keep the standards up and finish up.

Well Memorial weekend was spent with Family at Dillion's. So, I have spent the last to nights til 1am to try to catch up. I was able to tab the belly and boat sides. Need to go to Interstate Plastics and get some HDPE. Well, I have built some templates and mounted some things. See below:

Will be up early tomorrow to start painting. Going for dark blue chassis and white skins.

Winter?

Well, I tried to get some done today. Fought the heat and my desire to go back indoors. Here are some pics. Started plumbing the transmission and breathers. Brakes half the way done. and Fuel lines are waiting.

Power Steering bracket was a POS, but finally made some cuts and made my old one work.

That is coming along well!

Thanks... Just got the dash installed with some of the wiring to the switches.

So far, the master disconnect, ignition switch, starter, fuel pump, main lights, rock lights, CB, transmission cooler all work. Just need to connect the gauges, Amp, winch, Radiator Fan and ECM. Then add fluids and pray.

Should be a fun week. Hopefully I will be at Prairie city next Saturday to see how she runs.

let us know I'd go out and mess around.

See if we cant make it live on tuesday.

Really well. Just need to get the springs right for ride height. Water was flowing and the daughter didn't want to cross. So, played around and headed back to camp. Hardly used any gas, like it much better than propane.

Well, I was able to get the panels completed. Now I have to build a hood, out of Fiberglass. Finish up some wiring.

As for winter protection plans, no. At Octoberfest, it rained and I didn't cover the rig at all. Ran fine and no problems. The computer is going to safe mode after a few hours of drive time, and I know I am missing a sensor. So, I am going to get that all straightened out.
