good for you, I hate those fawkin bastids. There was one at my 4 year olds t-ball game. His dumbass just stood there ringing his bell and wouldnt keep going on his way. i must have hit him with a "wild" throw 4 times. He finally got the hint.

bigger is better right? i have a tank now, but i broke a fitting on one of the resavoirs so i have to fix that. also somehow burned up the TG powersteering pump. new one is on its way.
truck is done, ready for the hammer as a test run![]()
Up the first waterfall on Backdoor in just a couple seconds flat, have it on video. then blew the motor somewhere between there and camp on the way back. it was an awesome trip either way. only got to wheel jack hammer and backdoor but what ever.
suspension worked flawlessly, even in the woops. love coil overs, no more body roll.
looks good man! what spring rates r u running? backdoor has claimed 2 motors in r group now.crazy
front is 18inch shocks 200/250 and the rear is 14 inch shocks 175/225. the shocks felt really good, not really stiff but i didn't bottom out on the woops either. have about 5 inches of uptravel front and rear.
spun the 1st and second rod bearings.![]()
I have killed 2 22r's the same way usually due to the 3rd main bearing (thrust bearing) loosing or wearing down on the side part of the bearing that keeps the crank from walking front to back as soon as it does the angle on the rod bearings is all bad and thats usually when you spin em' or just eat em up but most of the time they spin and screw up the rods in the process, damn 4 bangers, when mine goes Im getting away from 22r's 3rd time is a charm right? Cole bought my old truck with the bearings fawkered up and he threw gear oil in it and drove it around a bit so hey at least they usually get you home!!! The first motor went on the freeway coming over the el dorado hill on 50 and I drove home in 3rd gear at 5000 rpm trying to seize it but no luck and then got home and put a brick on the pedal with no oil in it until the exhaust manifold was glowing red and again no luck I dont think they make enough power to tear themselves apart unless something really goes south in the motor...
the bearing caps and the crank look good, i didn't run it very long.
got the new bearings in it tonight. she is good to go i think. maybe hitting up rubicon or moonrocks, the group hasn't decided yet.
